About First Brethren Church

FIRST BRETHREN CHURCH

Mission: Love God. Make Disciples. Serve the Community.

Our church formally began in 1906. In 2005, we were able to move into a new facility off State Road 9, providing handicap access and updated utilities. We have always been deeply rooted in the Word and in prayer, though the programs change to fit the need. Especially important to us is supporting the kids in our community, usually through partnering with local organizations, such as By the Book (Bible trailer) and United with Love (food pantry).

We average 45-50 each Sunday, with a current age span of 6 to 86. We truly are a multigenerational, family-style church. It is our heart to encourage each individual in our congregation to serve as God has gifted them and to build our own community through events, Sunday school, Bible studies, and more. We are associated with The Brethren Church of Ashland, Ohio.
