Student Pastor
First Baptist Church Richmond Hill is seeking an exemplary Student Pastor who will provide visionary oversight, and pastoral leadership, to the students of our community and congregation. The Student Pastor will partner with parents and student leaders in discipling our students, consistently engage with students with the good news of the gospel and support them in developing their love for Him and others.
The overall objective of the Student Pastor is to connect with our youth, provide guidance and support as they grow, and educate them on how to apply God’s word to their own lives, as well as discipleship in order to connect people to Jesus for God’s glory. To be successful in this position, the Student Pastor will be present in the lives of our youth in their various contexts. He or she will work to provide a place, and build relationships, where students can feel safe, loved, and a sense belonging.

The Student Pastor is a salary-exempt position with the expectation that regular office hours will be kept. This is a full-time position and may work extended hours, evenings, over weekends and public holidays, and on short notice. As a member of the Ministry Team, he/she is supervised by the Senior Pastor and shall become a member of Richmond Hill First Baptist Church.
