Student Pastor/Director

Job Description:

The student pastor will work with the Senior Pastor, elders, parents, and students to create an environment where students (6th-12th graders) can live out the mission statement of Hammock Street Church. (HSC.)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must meet weekly meeting with the Senior Pastor.

• Must plan and attend all youth activities including summer camp, winter retreat, midweek programs, short-term mission trips and Sunday morning gatherings.

• Must have an adequate number of events on the annual calendar.

• Must find/prepare lessons that comport with HSC’s beliefs and mission.

• Must attend one personal ministry training at least every other year.

• Must invest in the Students personally and spiritually.

• Must be available as needed to teach on Sunday mornings.

Qualifications:

• Be in an active relationship with Jesus Christ

• Be able to commit 10-15 hours a week to ministry at HSC.

• Be passionate about both Student Ministry and Jesus Christ.

• Agreed with the HSC Statement of Faith.

• Be a team player.
